Course Points & Grades: The final grades will be determined on the basis of 1000 points as follows:

        Hourly Exams:            360 points (36%, 120 points per exam)

        Lecture Quizzes:         100 points (10%, 6 quizzes in total)

        Homework:                 160 points (16%)

        Laboratory:                 200 points (20%)

        Final Exam:                 180 points (18%)

    Total Points:                1000 points (100%)

The approximate grading scale will be: A > 860pts > B > 750pts > C > 640pts > D > 540pts > F

 

WITHDRAW: The current University drop policy will be strictly enforced: (1) the last day to drop a course with no grade and no fee is Tuesday January 21, and (2) the last day to drop a course with grade "W" is Friday April 11.
