30 March 2001 The Schedule page has seen extensive revision, and is officially updated through 13 April 2001. However, the remainder of the semester (with the exception of Finals) has also been outlined to give you an idea of upcoming material and the rate at which it will be covered. Two additional notes: 1) Please insure that you understand the Project and its grading criteria. I am happy to meet with you if you have any questions before the final draft is due. 2) I am interested in obtaining a common Final Exam for both sections of our class. This will be done as was the Midterm. Please bring your finals week schedule with you to class on Friday, 13 April 2001, so we may determine acceptable days and times. From those choices, we will determine by majority vote the Final Exam day and time, which will be set and announced in class by Friday, 20 April 2001. You will be asked to sign a statement indicating it is acceptable to move the Exam to the indicated day and time (assuming all members of the course can agree). 12 March 2001 The Semester Project page has been updated due to the assignment of the Project. Please insure that you are aware of the Project's requirements, as it represents 20% of your final course grade. 09 March 2001 Due to the Midterm Exam being rescheduled, we will be skipping class the Friday before Spring Break, 16 March 2001. |
