Physics 2114 or 2414 and Math 2233 or the equivalent |
| HOMEWORK |
Weekly homework assignments will be given. Due dates will be announced in class. The homework assignments are an essential part of this course. By doing the homework, you will develop the problem solving skills needed for success in the exams, and obtain a more complete understanding of the material. |
| EXAMS |
There will be two in-class exams and a comprehensive final exam. The dates and times of the in-class exams will be announced in class. The final exam is scheduled for Monday, December 8, 2003, from 10.00 am to 11.50 am. No make-up exams will be given unless a bonafide excuse is provided (e.g., due to sickness, a note from your doctor will be required). |

Attendance will be taken at the beginning of each lecture. Your are expected to attend each lecture. If you miss a lecture, it is your responsibility to find out what was covered and what information was given by the instructor. |
